Dr. Ely is an integrative cardiac physiologist with a main research areas investigating histamine's influence on blood flow and blood pressure regulation during and after aerobic exercise and how these factors relate to cardiovascular health.

I strive to create content that is relevant and applicable to students career interests. I am constantly trying to create and inclusive classroom and corresponding class material. I incorporate many class activities to engage students and create learning experiences outside of the traditional lecture format.
