The Department of Health Sciences offers several opportunities for students to strengthen their research and writing skills and explore topics in health policy & management beyond the classroom.

Research For Academic Credit

HPM 395 & HPM 396: Research

These courses serve as an undergraduate research
project under the guidance of a faculty member for 1-3 credit hours.

HPM 490 & HPM 491: Independent Study

Independent studies provide students the opportunity to explore a topic in health policy and management. A schedule of assigned readings and major paper/project are agreed upon with the faculty member.

Undergraduate Research Grants

Applications for undergraduate grants are due on a quarterly basis. Individual and group awards available ranging from $500-$2,500. For details & Application.
